EYEOTA Keyboard — Type. Fold. Play.
WORK IN PROGRESS — KEYBOARD TO GAMING CONTROLLER. Two circular keyboard halves fold together with the keys facing inward, forming a circular gaming controller. Turn the folded device over to access its upright gaming controls. Two 100-facet dice-shaped controls replace traditional thumbsticks, tilting slightly in different directions and returning to center to illustrate analog joystick input. This concept is continuing to be developed; comfort, electronics, hinge clearances and durability require physical prototyping.
DOCUMENT SOLUTIONS
This research/development project explores whether a circular moving-letter interface may be useful for vision testing. It is not a medical device, clinic, diagnosis, prescription, or substitute for an examination by a licensed eye-care professional. The creator is not a doctor or clinic. Prototype results must not be interpreted as a medical diagnosis.
WORK IN PROGRESS — EYEOTA Music Lock is an evolving prototype rooted in a rhyme dial I began developing when I was young, around ages 20–23, while in jail for something petty. I was writing raps and struggling to find rhyming words without a dictionary, so I traced a circle using my cup and arranged the alphabet around it. That dial helped me cycle through letters, explore words, and identify rhyme patterns. People familiar with my early work saw the concept during that period. Around the same time, a family member helped me create shirts featuring the EYEOTA logo and some of my early concepts.
Years later, encountering circular designs in publicly released creative work and hearing faith-centered music renewed my motivation when I was close to giving up on my ideas. When I heard that music, I was going through what felt like the worst time of my life, which made its message especially meaningful to me. I personally experienced this as encouragement from God to keep creating.
EYEOTA’s early concepts were developed independently. Later sources of inspiration encouraged me to continue that work; they were not the origin of those concepts. This project does not claim affiliation with or endorsement by the creators whose work inspired me.
EYEOTA Desktop
EYEOTA Desktop is a music-driven desktop environment being developed around EYEOTA's circular interface. The rotating dial is envisioned as a launcher for applications, games, files, system tools and EYEOTA's own internet experience.
